War of Ninja is a free online flash browser game in which you can accept missions, gain points, defeat your opponets and obtain new Ninja and buy items.

Using turn-based battles, War of Ninja requires you select a 3 character squad to challenge other team. and by continuing exploring the world, players are able to compete in various ladders and tournaments.

Like most of Japanese games, War of Ninja offers players the similar game experiece like Naruto and Soul Arena.

War of Ninja, in my opinion, is a great game, although it is in quite similar to naruto and soul arena. Although, characters do not all have 100 health, which mixes it up a little and makes it more fun. It is much better than the 2 games previously mentioned as well, as it has an actual storyline and it also has items that can be equipped to characters. Adittionally, the quests in game and the accepting of missions really makes the missions part less confusing, as I see some people running around asking how to accept missions in naruto and soul arena.

While we are on the missions topic, I think that while in the “enter world” mode, the interactivity makes the game a lot more fun and, this does not mean that I hate naruto and soul arena, but naruto and soul arena games are very boring due to just getting into it and fighting, waiting for your quest to be completed. Furthermore, I think that character unlocking is quite difficult in this game, due to there already being a low amount of characters as of yet, and the unlocking requirment involving multiple missions while gaining no other characters on the way.

Staying on the topic of characters, I think that some of them are overpowered. Hakumei Shotaru for instance, is the first guy you unlock in the hakumei village, and he is extremely overpowered. He has the disruption class, although, from the looks of his skills, he should be an assassination type. His shadow chaser requires shuriken wire on the target, but shadow chaser is well worth it. It deals 35 piercing damage and it bypassess invulnerability, which ruins the whole point of smokebomb and the evasion moves that every character has. I mean, really, some people are really mad about that(the ones that are fighting shotaro, not the ones using him).

By the way, I just want to add, people, including myself, are going nuts trying to figure out how some people are replacing smokebomb, health potion and kunai with things like shuriken and fire arrows. I mean, the shop is mentioned in the game manual, but it does not mention where the shop is and how to find it. Plus, it doesn’t even tell how to unlock it or if it’s just unlocked for the whole time as soon as you complete the prison quests. It took me about 8-9 days to find that some kind user and replied to someone asking how to get the shop, and he/she said “you have to beat some aoiro village missions”. See? Now there’s a helpful player.

Expanding on the “helpful” player thing, some people(well, someone did this to me) are going around with items they got from the shop and saying in mission battles “if you let me win, I’ll open chat after it says “I win” for me and I’ll tell you how to get the shop”. Now, I was desperate, so I skipped all my turns until my characters died, and then, the guy just put into the chat “thnx for the free win” and went on with his life without telling me about the shop! People are abusing this whole “I can’t find the shop” thing so this needs to stop and the details on how to get the shop and where to find it should be added to the game manual.

Anyways, now that I’ve vented out my anger from that event, I’d like to continue. Like I said before(I think I said this before) I think this game is amazing in the long-run. However, a huge flaw has been discovered by me and I don’t see anyone else talking about it, so let me say it. The battle system. It is very hard. I mean, you have people who have already wiped the floor with Toge, fighting against people who can’t get past the prison area. I was stuck in the prison place for about 2 days before a generous player by the name of froshy22(or something along those lines) surrendered and allowed me to go to the SECOND MISSION!!!!! You know what that guy was? He was helpful player #2 in this review.

The above mentioned battle system flaw has to change. Quickly. I still can’t get past the mission to unlock aoiro asami as a ninja to use since people are wiping the floor with me. One last thing I need to add now. One final thing before my second post in this forum is completely finished. ONE LAST THING…
