Monsters are not skulking in the very depth of wild forests any more. Instead, they are now making their way into your houses, near enough that you can even hear their hungry groaning! Jesus, where are they? What do they want? Tiptoe to your backyards, have a peek and do believe what you have seen. Creepy beasts are everywhere, marching in order, building facilities, or clumsily making stuffs. Yes, Casual Collective has expatriated your backyards for its latest Facebook hit, Backyard Monsters, and unleashed monster armies here for forthcoming military combats.
Preparation work is on boils here for the advent warfare, and these aggressive monsters are amassed and harnessed right for this purpose. Don’t want to see your beautiful house yard get ruined? The only choice is to stop being onlookers and jump in the wagon to defense your properties against brutal invasions!
A solid defense system entails, naturally, a whole lot of building and constructing. You job here in Backyard Monster is to transform this small patch of land into a well-designed and highly-secured fort with functioning facilities of various kinds. Set up a base as your major coordinating and strategy-making center. Build up proper structures to gather all necessary war-time resources. Put productive facilities in place to support your mighty army and finally don’t forget to craft a well-protected warehouse for storing your hard-won supplies.
A proper layout could keep monsters at bay and, in turn, make you well positioned to deal deadly blows on those ruthless enemies. A bad blueprint, however, would see your little fort trampled over and smashed into piece by monsters and other warlords alike.
It not all about defense though. Those monsters are all superb warriors and have a natural craving for war and blood shedding. Don’t let them lay idly. Make the best army lineup out of them in the backyard and once you give the signal, they will all gallop forward to the front lines and conquer neighboring forts through much slashes and slays.
However intense the combats may sound, your life is not at stake. Backyard Monster always allows you the chance to get upon on your feet if falling down and to turn over a new leaf for a fresh start. No matter how you have suffered from the losses, never cry over the spill milk. Repair your defense systems, sharpen your armies, and ready to make a comeback any time your want.

Make no mistake,while this game is ostensibly free,the entire thing from 1 end to the other is engineered to try to frustrate you to spending real money on everything from “speed ups” to “protection”. It’s excruciatingly slow & resource hogging upgrades to 1,000 Shiny for the 4th worker & then an unannounced doubling of that to 2000 Shiny for the 5th worker. So if you are not used to this kind of gaming chicanery, you might, say, go buy or save 2k Shiny (I bought $20 worth of Shiny (3000) and inadvertently spent all of it on the 2 blue dots called “workers” because of this bait and switch tactic). Another tidbit buried in BYM’s forums is the little gem that people cannot attack you while you are there! They have to attack you behind your back when you are not logged on! Oh but wait! Then can you or does it make automatic (free) repairs for you while you are away? Why of course not! If you are expecting reasonable fairness in this game, forget it! While you can be attacked up to 4 times an hour, any repairs have to wait until you come back and click on the “repair” button, which in my case last time was 7 hours after 2 attacks! Then of course, the higher the level of the resource, the long it takes to repair them, in my case 45 minutes for each tower. Yet another tidbit buried in the forums: This one concerns town hall level 6. if you save the 1.7 miliion in resources to do this upgrade, which takes 4 days (Buy our shiny to speed it up now, y’hear!) and do it because you want more weapons and a significant amount of more blocks to build walls and 10 more mines that you’ve been getting with previous town hall upgrades, forget it, this is a bogus upgrade. All you get for your effort is 5 more mines, 10 more stone blocks and the ablitity to upgrade each silo to level 10.

get a yard planner, and check to make sure that your major buildings ( town hall at least) is protected by at least 2 defensive towers. blocks and booby traps are great around the town hall, all the other buildings are a pain to loose but not as bad as the town hall. I have goo factories protected and some others, but townhall is behind 2 block levels, seperated by goo factories, and booby traps lined up at the entrance to the town hall. So far only one attack has gotten to my town hall, I work 5 days a week and am gone 10 hours a day and only one attack that got my town hall is not bad

why is it that someone who is not on your friend list (on your facebook account) can attack your yard.. while someone who’s in your friend list that attacked you cannot be seen in map room. it’s unfair!!! there is this one guy who kept attacking me up to 4 times each day… and i cant attack him back because i cant see him on my list of neighbors! WTF

if you want some tips in BYM just upgrade your catapult some monster and hatch some itchi and fink thats the best monster in attacking and keep upgrading resources and depensive just use your brain in attaking and analyze before you make some moves!!! thats all thank you if u want to add me heres my email just search john campoy campoy!!
