What is the difference between Chips and Happy Coins?

Chips in “Boss Vegas” are the key to your casino’s economy. They allow you to buy items, hire workers and Comp your guests. To get more Chips simply buy and place more revenue generating objects, (i.e. Slot Machines, Tables and Function Rooms) and collect the money when it is ready.

Happy Coins are a special currency that is used to purchase rare items or achieve special game objectives. You can re-up anytime by clicking the “Add Coins” button near the top of your game screen, but there are also random give-a-ways that you can benefit from depending on your in-game actions.

What is BLING

Each gambling machine, gaming table and function room occupies a certain displaced value of BLING. To keep your casino up and running you need to balance this amount with decorations, which increase your BLING. If you don’t have enough BLING to match your revenue generating items your casino will be forced to shut down.

How do I prevent my casino from being shut down?

Your casino will be forced to shut down when you don’t have enough BLING. You have to have a certain amount of BLING in your casino to counter-balance all of your gaming tables, gambling machines and function rooms. To increase your BLING just build decorations to make your casino more luxurious. To bring this to balance you can also store some of your existing gambling paraphernalia in your inventory to get below the BLING threshold.

How is my casino affected by my customers’ moods?

Your customers can be very fickle when it comes to how your casino is designed. If there is a certain game they want to play and you don’t have it or it is occupied by another customer, they will sour on your casino, which increases the chance of them leaving outright. Luckily, it’s easy to see what individual customers would like to play. Simply click on them and their desired game will appear above their heads along with their current mood level. Placing their desired game should alleviate the problem, but you can also Comp your customers by giving them chips. This will cost you chips but will increase your customers’ likelihood of sticking around to spend their money. The amount of BLING in your casino will also affect your customers’ moods. And remember: It’s very important to satisfy your VIP customers and keep them in a good mood because they will be spending the most money.

What is the energy value of my employees?

Over time, your employees will lose energy and when their energy level is reduced to zero they will no longer be able to man tables or do any work at all. This is a huge detriment to your casino because you will be losing revenue! All you have to do is click on the employee and then click the “Cheer Up” button to get them back in the game!

How can I get more room in my casino?

There are several ways to increase the size of your casino. You can spend chips to increase the size of your casino, however, you have to reach certain level and friend thresholds before you can utilize this method. You can also instantly expand your casino by spending Happy Coins.

What’s the difference between VIPs and other customers?

The number of VIPs compared to regular customers in your casino will usually be quite low. VIPs spend more money and give bigger experience boosts than regular customers. Because of this they need to be cherished, coddled and hopefully Comped. No one wants to lose their best customer!

Why can’t I buy every item?

Some items will be locked until you reach a certain level so it’s important for you to progress through the game so you can get all the cool stuff! Or you might just not have enough Chips!

What are friends for?

Each time you visit your friends you will be rewarded in kind and the more friends you have the more generous the incentives will be! You also need friends if you want to expand your casino and you don’t want to spend Happy Coins. Friends are just good to have and help you progress in the game faster! That’s what friends are for!
